Event Policies
The following policies and procedures apply to all Grit Fest related activities.
Only registered event participants, volunteers, and staff are allowed to participate in festival activities including, but not limited to: guided rides, clinics, workshops, meals, happy hours, keynote address, dance party, and camping.
Please respect that the space we are creating is an affinity space for trans men & women, cis women, and non-binary folks. That means that your cis-male partners, friends, and acquaintances are not invited to participate in any festival activities.
Children and minors are not allowed to participate in the festival for legal/liability reasons.
No Pets. "Service Animals" as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act will be allowed. "Emotional Support" animals and "Pets" ARE NOT covered under the ADA and therefore WILL NOT be allowed. All service animals must be registered with Festival ADA Services and be given festival credentials. Service animals must be physically restrained at all times, and must remain with the person it provides service to at all times.
Firearms are prohibited on festival grounds regardless of permits that an individual may hold.
All event staff, volunteers, and participants are required to use the correct pronouns of each participant.
Grit MTB Festival has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, including verbal, physical, and online harassment. Please report any harassment you experience or witness to a staff or Board member. If you would prefer to anonymously report, you may do so using the form linked below.
All restrooms and facilities are gender-neutral. One restroom is designated for wheelchair use. Please respect these designations.
Parking is only allowed in designated areas.
Grit MTB Festival (DBA: All Bikes Welcome) is not responsible for personal belongings. Do not leave personal belongings unattended on the festival grounds.
No unauthorized vending – only registered vendors may sell goods or services on festival grounds.
Tickets purchased are not subject to a refund. In some instances we may allow an individual to defer their entry to the following year.
Participant fires are not allowed! Fires are not allowed at the campground.
Do not remove or damage your wristband.
No generators or amplified music at the campground between 10PM-6AM.
Event staff and volunteers, especially ride guides, will plan routes that prioritize the safety of all participants, with attention paid to trail conditions and traffic patterns.
Ride Guides are VOLUNTEERS, not professional guides. Please be patient and treat them with respect and dignity.
Grit MTB Festival is a grassroots festival. We do our best to provide for a variety of backgrounds & experiences, but we cannot realistically meet all needs. Please be gentle in your approach when giving feedback or bringing concerns to staff and volunteers. We always aim to do our best and are open to ways that we can improve.
By implementing these policies, Grit MTB Festival can continue to create an environment where trans men and women, cis women, and nonbinary folks feel valued, safe, and included, fostering a positive and diverse cycling community. We thank you for your help in creating this space.
